The treatment that ends ingrown hairs, razor bumps and the constant upkeep. Coarse bikini hair responds faster to laser than almost anywhere else on the body, which is why this is the area most clients start with — and the one they wish they had started sooner.
The laser targets pigment in the follicle, so thick dark hair absorbs more energy and disables more reliably. That makes the bikini area one of the most rewarding places to treat — clients usually notice a real drop in regrowth by the third session.
Shave the area the night before. The laser needs the follicle intact under the skin but the surface hair gone, so shaving is required and waxing or plucking must stop four weeks in advance.
The session itself takes about fifteen minutes. You are covered except for the section being treated, and Sukh works in passes with the cooled applicator gliding over the skin rather than stamping it. Most clients find the first thirty seconds surprising and the rest unremarkable.
Afterwards the area may look slightly pink, like mild windburn, for a few hours. You can go straight back to your day. Avoid hot baths, saunas and the gym for twenty-four hours, and keep the area out of the sun.
Over the following one to three weeks the treated hairs shed on their own. That shedding is a good sign, not regrowth. Your next session is booked four to six weeks out to catch the next group of follicles entering their growth phase.
Out of respect for clients, before-and-after photographs of the bikini area are not published on the website. Sukh will show you real results from her own clients in person at your consultation, with their permission.
“She made me feel very comfortable and at ease. I keep going back because I know I am in good hands.”
Prices are per session. Combining areas is usually cheaper than booking them separately — the Full Body package at $200 covers face, arms, legs, underarms and Brazilian together.
That is entirely your call. Some clients want a landing strip, others want full clearance including the back. You decide at your consultation, and you can change it at any session — nothing is locked in.
It is a clinical appointment with one female technician and nobody else in the studio. Sukh has done this more than 800 times. Clients almost always say the anticipation was worse than the reality.
Considerably less, according to virtually every client who has had both. Waxing tears hair out by the root in one movement. The laser delivers heat gradually while a chilled sapphire tip stays in contact with the surface of your skin.
You can, though many clients prefer not to and the area can feel more sensitive at that point in the cycle. Just let Sukh know when you book and she will move the appointment at no cost.
Usually six to eight. Because bikini hair is coarse and dark it often responds faster than average, and most clients see a clear reduction by the third session.
They typically resolve as the follicles are treated. Existing dark marks fade more slowly and are pigment left behind by past inflammation rather than hair — mention them at your consultation and Sukh will tell you honestly what to expect.
Twenty minutes, a patch test, and honest answers about what laser can and cannot do for your skin and hair. No pressure, no obligation.
